Below are our terms and conditions of sale to which all purchases are subject.  If you have any further questions please check our website or call us on 01594 827 333.    


The following applies to all new parts and remanufactured parts


Returns procedure


Before returning goods please read our Terms and Conditions.


If you need to return any item we will happily refund or exchange it, provided it is within 7 days of delivery, in its original packaging and with proof of purchase.


To return an item you must firstly contact FAB Direct either by email at sales@fabdirect.com or telephone us on 01594 827 333.  We will authorize the return.  Returns that have not been authorized cannot be accepted.  Let us know which item(s) you wish to return and the details of any fault, along with you customer invoice/delivery note number and your personal details.  Package your item(s) securely, returning in the original outer packaging where possible.  Place the returns label from you delivery note on the outside of the parcel.  All items returned by post (unless faulty) are returned at your cost.  We advise that you obtain a certificate of posting when returning items by post.  


Parts returned for credit must be returned in a resaleable condition and in their original packaging.  Items fitted cannot be refunded if correctly supplied. 


Electrical units cannot be returned for credit if they have been fitted.


Personalised or made-to-order products cannot be returned unless faulty.


If you purchase a product which is found to be faulty we will (depending on the item) supply a replacement product, arrange for a repair or give you a refund of the purchase price as appropriate.


Shortages or damaged goods
All orders should be checked immediately upon receipt.  Shortages or damaged items must be reported within 24 hours.


Terms and Conditions


• All parts orders cancelled within 7 days (commencing the day after receipt of the goods) will be credited in full.  Any parts that have been correctly supplied and are cancelled after this period may be subject to a 25% minimum handling charge.  Damaged or faulty goods may still be credited after the 7 day period dependant on the circumstance.


• Any shortfall or damage to goods must be notified within 24 hours following receipt of the goods.


• All parts being returned for credit must be in a re-saleable condition.  Items will not be accepted if they appear to have been fitted or if sealant grease has been applied (with the exception of faulty goods).


• Warranty / labour claims will only be considered on faulty goods. 


• Items returned for credit must be accompanied by the relevant invoice or proof of purchase.


• All parts and accessories from FAB are guaranteed.  Please check individual specification and guarantee available for the product at the time of purchase.

Parts CORRECTLY SUPPLIED and then returned are subject to a 25% HANDLING CHARGE.  PROOF OF PURCHASE REQUIRED.


All parts returned by COURIER must be CLEAN and FREE FROM OIL, CORRECTLY LABLED and PROPERLY PACKAGED to avoid damage.  Exchange items not meeting these requirements WILL FORFEIT SURCHARGE REFUND.


Items returned for REFUND MUST HAVE A COPY OF INVOICE or a COVERING LETTER stating ORIGINAL INVOICE NUMBER.


WARRANTIES COVER PARTS ONLY, and only apply IF PARTS ARE FITTED BY A RECOGNISED INDEPENDENT SPECIALIST OR APPROVED DEALER.
